Went to Cairngorm Mountain, It was genuinely one of the most beautiful areas I've ever been to. Took the funicular up, and just took in the fantastic views. I then walked up to the summit, on a clear day you can see for miles and it is well worth the trip. There's also skiing snowboarding and other activities you can do as well. All in all a fantastic area.

Visited 16/1/26 - main car park full so got shuttle bus up. They are very frequent, so no big deal. Staff on site making sure people park sensibly. Getting tickets very straightforward - bought online and redeemed at ticket window. Got funicular first, and was pleasantly surprised to hear a conditions report from the operator. Once out the top, got in a few laps near the summit on the T bars. Liftie staff also friendly. Snow good near the fences, wind affected away from them. Did find the criss crossing trails quite confusing, but appreciate this is a feature of Scottish Snowsports using the terrain we have. Lower down slopes were mainly good - some bare / challenging sections but this was made apparent in advance on website. Used the cafe - busy, but food was decent, not atrocious pricing and staff again were friendly. Yeah, it's not all time best conditions and I would have liked to ride a chairlift, not T bars but for what they are working with it's a great effort by the whole team.

The ski centre with its funicular, restaurant , lifts, magic carpet and pistes is brilliant. We were lucky enough to have an amazing weekend with snow, sunshine and rainbow snowboarding. Thank you for all the staff who worked tirelessly to clear all the snow and make this happen after massive gail winds of 80km/hour. We had amazing ski holidays staying at the MacDonald lodge Aviemore getting no 30 bus to the ski slopes.

Probably the most perfect day on the slopes you could ask for. Very busy, but all chilled. Train to top was efficient and quick. Outdoor facilities all working. Happy people all around. Unfortunately interactive experience up top was not available. Cafe at base was mobbed. Waited 25 mins in queue and card payment service went down. Cash only. No cash on me. We made the best of it because it was another beautiful day and we were in one of the most beautiful locations on our beautiful planet. Look after it folks.

We had a brilliant family day at Cairngorm Mountain. The setting is stunning and very family-friendly, with plenty of space for children to enjoy the snow safely, even without skiing. The funicular tram ride was a real highlight for the kids, and all credit to the perfect weather - clear blue skies made it a memorable day for all. We’ll definitely be back.

Cairngorm Mountain is absolutely beautiful. The views are stunning and the fresh air alone makes the trip worth it. It’s a great place to slow down, enjoy nature, and take some memorable photos. Facilities are decent and the area is well maintained, though weather can change quickly, so it’s best to be prepared. Overall, a lovely experience and a place I’d happily visit again. Highly recommended if you’re exploring Scotland’s natural beauty.

The Cairngorms are truly exceptional. A vast mountain range with incredible views. It is both a ski resort and a national.park area. We got the Funicular railway to the top of the mountains. Despite a long queue, it only took 15 minutes to board ans then 5 to 10 minutes to the top of the mountain. It was obviously cold at the top. Lots of snow. Incredible views. I would highly recommend visiting here irrespective of if you plan to ski. We didn't. There is also an excellent restaurant and bar at the top. Food was as good as to be expected. All in all, an excellent place to visit.
